On Sunday, March 10, 2019, the fifth edition of the Miss Black Hair Netherlands election will take place in Amsterdam from 4 pm to 10 pm.

Miss Black Hair Netherlands organizes this beauty contest for the black woman with her natural hair structure and is the only one of her kind.

Not an average beauty contest, but one that focuses on the black women with her, the beauty, diversity and energy costs of this woman. Miss Black Hair Netherlands is very in the natural woman.

Miss Black Hair Netherlands want to show the power of diversity too late and to make the link between her and identity.

With the beauty contest, they aim to increase self-awareness among black women. They hope to inspire, motivate and encourage women to get to know their own hair, but also to look for complete self-love.

With this complete self-love, these women can focus on how they can have the best version.

In the media there is no representation of black women with their natural hair structure. Miss Black Hair Netherlands brings this attention.

frizzy hair. To inspire visitors with new hair styles, there are several hair experts invited to lead the way in the wonderful world of natural hair styling! That’s how they discover the Cantu look of top stylist Anastacia, they learn more about sisterlocks thanks to Amba’s Natural hair & Beautysalon.and about protective styling thanks to Curl Society.

Natural hair is not just about the hair, it’s a lifestyle.  Everyone who is a natural hair journey has started, know that it takes some getting used to.
Fortunately, visitors can enjoy all of them her needs go to different exhibitors. There will also be international brands such as Kera Care, As I am and the Mane’s Choice. In particular, the Mane’s choice does not only offer solutions to lubricate the hair, but also to take care of the hair from the inside.

As you can read, visitors to Locked & Loose 2018 can take a comprehensive program packed with tips & advice. Of course there will also be a Locked & Loose market where there is various products can be estimated. From natural hair products and facial care up to clothes with colorful prints and jewelry in different styles. There is something for everyone.

Locked & Loose also takes into account the smallest among us. During the event the stimulated children to get out of their shell by giving drawing and dance workshops. If The day comes to an end with a dazzling fashion show, in which the children can show their talents.

A celebration is of course not complete without distributing goodies. Visitors become treated to a well-filled goodie bag and during the day there are several give aways.

Event: Naturals In The City: Kinky- and Curly hair in living Rotterdam.€

In this blogpost I want to share a event I will be visiting this weekend,
I know it is a while ago that I posted an event….
I want to make it up with you!

Naturals In The City kinky and curly hair in vibrant Rotterdam:

On January 27the, the 1st edition of Naturals in The City will take place in Rotterdam.
After previous successful editions in previous years, it is high time to put 2018 completely in the sign of kinky and curly hair.
The intimate event is an initiative of The Natural Hair Club NL , an organization that together with more than 36,000 members in its Facebook group celebrates its eighth year of existence this year.

Naturals In The City is an evening for naturals, transitioners and people who are interested in natural hair. Visitors can meet in a relaxed atmosphere in Stroom Rotterdam, a top location in Rotterdam.
Every edition of Naturals In The City opens with a workshop in which the transfer and sharing of knowledge is central. On January 27th, an educator from the international brand As I Am will give a workshop and will mainly zoom in on how to make Length & Strength on kinky and curly.

Lounge

The Natural Hair Club is primarily an online platform and saw its membership grow in the years that natural hair became a popular and popular hairdresser. The unique shift caused many questions that are answered daily by different members in the Facebook group.
Members can meet each other during the lounge completely free of charge and without obligation.
“It’s always nice to see someone from the facebook group ,” says Sharon Lang, founder and board member of The Natural Hair Club.
The Candidates of the “Miss Black Hair Netherlands election” will introduce themselves to the attendees.

“Everyone is welcome”

The organization emphasizes that everyone is welcome during Naturals In The City. Men and women who already wear their hair in the natural state, are interested in or know someone with natural hair are invited to a pleasant evening full of goodies, cocktails and conviviality. “Everybody is welcome, guests can safely bring a friend or a friend to a cozy drink. To make the evening extra special, we also give away presents “, says Sharon.

Except women inspire their natural embrace her, the goal also encourage women to go into a dialogue on the question, what does it really for the black woman. Miss Black Hair Netherlands says that the black woman is the beauty ideal. Time to believe that and to go looking for the best you.

Locked & Loose “Kids Edition”

How are you? I hope you’re doing great!!  What are your plans for this weekend??  I want to share this COOL event with you.”Locked & Loose Kids Edition 2016″The World Museum. Mabey this event is something for you or somebody you know. Feel Free to share this blogpost.

On Saturday, December 3rd 2016 will of Locked & Loose 5th edition, in The World Museum in Rotterdam. This edition is for young and old. The exhibition Afrika010 there for visitors, a program of workshops, panel discussions and the opportunity to ask for tips to various experts in the field of natural frizzy and curly hair.

The organization, The Natural Hair Club is an online community of over 20,000 members of mostly African origin. Locked & Loose began as a living gathering of 15 people and has grown into the biggest event around frizz, curls and dreadlocks in the Netherlands.

Locked & Loose 2016 promises to be a fun and educational day for all visitors at the World Museum in Rotterdam. It is intertwined with the exhibition Afrika010. This exhibition is a #mustsee, it shows the surprising and dynamic versatility of Africa. The organization wants through this collaboration, the visitors get acquainted with their roots.

During the program of Locked & Loose 2016 has, among other things. The workshop ” how hair combs can be fun for parent and child, “the workshop” Nutrition for hair and skin “and a panel discussion on the challenges regarding frizzy and curly hair. Also find the launch site of Europe’s first Beauty Box that is focused on women with dark skin.

The event is on Saturday, December 3rd from 12:00 to 19:00. The tickets can be ordered via http://www.thenaturalhairclub.nl.  Kids under 12 years € 10, – and € 15 regular cards. Entrance Ticket including Black Beauty Box from € 27.50.

The Miss Black Hair Netherlands election 2016! An election in which 14 women show the beauty of the black woman. This in its purest form, their natural hair. It’s a beauty contest which aims to increase knowledge and awareness about the hair of black women, linking it with identity and to show the beauty and diversity off  all these beautifull ladies.

Pearl event 2016 + win 2×2 kaartjes

Op 31 januari is de vierde editie van het Pearl event. Het event dat in het teken staat van urban livestyle. Dit keer een speciale editie met (veel)aandacht voor black hair. Deze editie heet Pearl presents Urban Hair Fest. Er is genoeg te beleven voor natural hair lovers en iedereen die dit event wilt bezoeken.

HOOGTEPUNTEN PEARL EVENT

Er zijn leuke optredens van onder andere La Rouge en Gio. Ook kan je lekker Surinaams en Antilliaans eten. Voor de kinderen is er een spingkussen en voorleessessie met Miss Alida . Er is een barber battle en make-up battle waar ik dit jaar weer naar uitkijk. Er is ook een fashion closet sale van Kim Keizer en I am Aisha en een live tattoo area.

Je kan daar heerlijk met andere andere naturals babbelen en tips and tricks uitwisselen. Ook zullen de dames van The Natural Hair Club een workshop geven over het sealen van het haar.  Hiernaast vind je de stand van Entwine Couture. Entwine Couture is een nieuwe Amerikaanse naturel hair lijn gericht op moisturizen van het haar.
Ik moet zeggen dat ik  fan ben geworden van deze lijn ik zal binnenkort een review plaatsen over deze producten.
